KAYLA & CHRIS
While our true love is our growing family, our first love was and has always been design. People are always asking about our style, which tends to be more modern or mid-century, but we are much more interested in getting to know our clients and how we can bring their projects and styles to life.
While we knew of each other at an early age - Chris and I met promptly after college where he studied architecture and I studied interior design - a match made in heaven! While we may not see eye-to-eye on everything, one thing we can always agree on is our design style. We approach design from very different but complimentary perspectives that give us an advantage to always finding the right solutions for our clients!

Kayla Campbell is an amazing designer and a GREAT person! It was obvious from the very first consult that Kayla was extremely knowledgeable about interior design and had a big heart. My family first met and hired Kayla in 2017 to help us decorate several rooms in our brand new home. We especially wanted Kayla to help us design, furnish, and decorate two bedrooms for our teenage daughters that they would love for years to come! She carefully listened to the ideas we had and what we envisioned for the bedrooms. She provided us with amazing design options that were all within our desired budget. We loved how Kayla was connected to surrounding businesses and individuals in the community. Through Kayla, we were able to connect with custom furniture builders, blind specialists, lighting specialists, etc. Kayla was extremely knowledgeable and walked us through every step of the process. She made herself available and worked with our crazy work schedules to get the project completed in a timely manner. My daughters' bedrooms were so much more beautiful and functional than we could have ever imagined! Kayla made the entire design process/experience enjoyable and we definitely will call on Kayla for any future design needs. We truly loved our experience with Kaylal!

A little over a year ago we bought a home that needed some updating. Specifically the kitchen and the primary bathroom. Kayla came over for a walk through and the ideas started flowing! Our bathroom was small with a very odd layout, Kayla was able to make it so much more spacious and include all of the features we wanted. I am literally in awe of our kitchen, the way she designed it completely opened up our main living area of the house. Everything is stunning! I’m obsessed with where we live, which is a wonderful feeling! Kayla’s designs skills are not where this company stops, their 3D renderings are amazing. We were about to spend a lot of money on our remodel and I wanted to make sure I liked the end result. Chris’ renderings are extremely lifelike. They helped me visualize our space and made me feel comfortable moving forward with the project. I have and would recommend White Tail Design Studio to anyone in the market!
Had a wonderful experience working with Kayla! I have a 1940’s home and the kitchen/dining room was all very small and enclosed. She was able to come up with ideas and renderings that created so much more space and openness. She was able to design a space that was totally my style and better than anything I was expecting. She’s realistic with budget and paying more and less for certain things depending on the use and quality. Would definitely go back to Whitetail Design again in the future, and have already recommended to friends and family!
Kayla at Whitetail Design is amazing. My husband and I needed guidance in a Master bathroom remodel and Kayla did a wonderful job executing our design. She stayed with us every step of the way from design, to sourcing materials, checking in on progess and helping us pick out the finishing touches. She is responsive and flexible. We cannot recommend Kayla and her husband Chris enough!
I worked with Kayla on my kitchen/dining/living room renovation and she is so amazingly talented! From architectural renderings, to layout, to finishes and decor, she does it all. Best money I spent on this project!! She was there to guide me the entire way and made this undertaking so much easier!!!
Chris and Kayla were with us every step of the way as we picked actual siding, stone, paint colors, etc. to make the drawing a reality. They came out, we compared colors with tiny variations, took samples outside to see how the colors changed in the sunlight, and they were so great about suggesting actual products versus just general ideas. (I knew I wanted a coral pink front door - but there are 100 variations of coral pink! It was wonderful to get an actual brand and paint color suggestion from them!) Chris and Kayla are extremely good at what they do. They are great listeners, great designers, and they are excellent and reliable communicators. To top it all off they are the sweetest family behind a family business. I could not recommend them any higher - they are amazing!
